THE South East Motor Sports Enthusiast’s Club will be running the Nikki Stevens Memorial Race Day on Saturday, August 19, at Lydden Motor Racing circuit.

The event will be run in memory of the club’s race entries secretary, championship secretary, clerk of the course and board/committee member Nikki Stevens, who has died after a short illness.

SEMSEC is running this event in recognition of the enormous amount of time, work and enthusiasm which she gave to racing.

A trophy has been designated to be named the Nikki Stevens Memorial Trophy which will be awarded to the driver who amasses the greatest number of Championship and/or Challenge series points during the day in the various races which make up this meeting.

Competitors may use more than one car to qualify for these points and points may be gained in up to three separate championships/challenge races.

Anyone who would like to take part can do so by completing and returning one of the event entry forms which can be obtained from the SEMSEC website at www.semsec.org.ok or by phoning Anthony Miles on 01892 610461.

Those not able to enter are welcome to attend and marshal. Prospective marshals may contact Adrian Dawkins on 01304 823962.
