MILLWALL have confirmed the signing of Gillingham midfielder Danny Spiller.

The 25-year-old will rubber-stamp the move on July 1 once his current deal at Priestfield expires.

Spiller is a product of the club's youth system and won the player of the year award in 2004 but has struggled to make an impact in recent seasons.

He said: "I'm ambitious and I believe Millwall are going to be strong challengers for promotion."
