FORMER Gillingham defender Dean Beckwith has signed for Nationwide Conference side Hereford United.

The 21-year-old was released by Gillingham in June after failing to break into the first team, having previously risen through the club’s youth ranks.

Meanwhile, Blackpool have pulled out of any move for Bertrand Bossu after the keeper was unable to join the club’s pre-season training camp in Scotland.
