Returning duo sharpen Gills attack

Neil Harris is back after suspension

Bristol City v Gillingham

GILLINGHAM travel to Bristol City in League 1 on Saturday boosted by the return of a recognised strike force.

The midfield pair of Danny Spiller and Tommy Black spearheaded the attack in the 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest at the weekend due to a severe lack of options.

But manager Ronnie Jepson now has a healthier outlook with the return of Neil Harris from suspension and the re-signing of 21-year-old Irishman Gary Mulligan on loan from Sheffield United.

He was back in training for the first time on Thursday and will go straight into the squad on Saturday.

Jepson said: "He's back to full fitness now and is a welcome addition to the squad."

Danny Jackman (ankle) and Michael Flynn (shoulder) remain Gillingham’s only doubts after picking up knocks during last Saturday’s game.
