BROMLEY are back on top of the Ryman League Premier Division after beating Tonbridge Angels 3-0 in a Kent derby at Hayes Lane on Saturday.
Gareth Williams set the Lillywhites on their way with a deflected free-kick on the quarter hour mark, before another first half strike from Tutu Henrique - who buried the rebound after Kirk Watts had hit the bar - and a second half goal from substitute Nic McDonnell sealed the win.
Angels' Jon Main did hit a post in the first half but it was a comfortable victory in the end for the home side.
Leaders at the start of the day Margate were on the wrong end of a five-goal thrilller at Hampton and Richmond Borough.
Gate gave themselves a montain to climb by finding themselves three goals and a man down by half-time. Lee Hodges header and two Eliot Godfrey penalties had the home side in control, while Justin Skinner was shown a red card.
But Margate rallied and pulled a goal back just after half-time through James Pinnock, but immediately suffered a blow as Steve McKimm was dismissed during the melée that followed.
However, the visitors were still able to set up a grandstand finish when Danny Hockton netted his 28th goal of the season.
Ramsgate kept in touch with the sides above them with a 2-1 home win against Carshalton Athletic.
Goals from Stuart Vahid and Sean Welford saw Jim Ward's side come from behind to take the points, but they were grateful to keeper Paul Wilkerson who saved a late penalty.
It wasn't such a good day for Folkestone Invicta who went down 1-0 at Staines Town.
Dartford missed the chance to go top of Ryman League Division 1 South as they went down to a disappointing 3-2 defeat at Horsham YMCA.
Steve Hafner's brace wasn't enough for the Darts, who surrendered the points to an 89th minute penalty. The visitors also saw Lew Watts sent off for two bookable offences.
But it was fine afternoon for Ashford Town who took all three points from their clash with Metropolitan Police at Homelands.
Simon Glover got Town's first before Walid Matata won it with just six minutes to play.
Cray Wanderers kept in touch with the play-off places as they took the honours in the Kent derby against Sittingbourne thanks to a second half strike by Dean Morris.
Dover Athletic could only take a point from their home match against Whyteleafe, despite the visitors having two men sent off. Jimmy Dryden got Whites' goal.
Chatham Town played out a goalless draw against Fleet Town, while Maidstone United saw their long unbeaten record come to an end at Tooting & Mitcham United -
