Saturday prospects look bleak for Kent

HEAVY overnight rain and occasional morning drizzle ensured no play would be possible on the second morning of Kent's championship clash with Gloucestershire in Canterbury.
Match officials David Constant and Barrie Leadbeater advised a handful of supporters that they would inspect conditions at 2pm, but any further rain would probably lead to an abandonment for the day.
Some 15 wickets fell on an action packed opening day, as Kent reduced the visitors to 127 for five having been dismissed themselves for 129.
