MARK STIMSON: "Whatever formation we put out will be attack minded."

Hartlepool v Gillingham

GILLINGHAM manager Mark Stimson will be forced to shuffle his pack for the League 1 trip to Hartlepool on Saturday.

Defenders Danny Cullip (groin), Garry Richards (suspended) and Sean Clohessy (suspended) are all unavailable.

Stimson said: "We might have to change formation for the weekend. We'll wait and see. Whatever formation we put out will be attack minded. We've got to go for these wins now and that's what we'll be doing on Saturday.

"Hartlepool had a fantastic result during the week against Oldham but I'm sure if we can put in the same performance as we did on Tuesday, and have a bit more luck with the officials, then we can get something from the game."

The Gills has appealed against the red card shown to Richards in the 4-2 defeat against Brighton, but it was rejected. Adam Bygrave and Ian Cox could both feature in defence.

Stimson said: "We're fortunate that we've got two other centre halves. That does give us a bit of cover.

"If Ian (Cox) does get a game you'd hope that he plays with what he's got. That's experience, leadership and know-how."

Simon Royce is also likely to return after missing the 4-2 midweek defeat at Brighton through illness.
