Brighton & Hove Albion v Gillingham
GILLINGHAM will be looking to build on their vital victory over Rotherham when they visit Brighton's Withdean Stadium on Boxing Day.
Ternent is still focusing on the magic 50 point mark and is determined to focus solely on his own job and not of others.
He said: "What the others are doing is not of interest to me and all I'm bothered about is what we do.
"We're not trying to catch anyone and that's what I want to make clear. We're trying to get 50 points and beyond and we'll have a good go against Brighton."
The Seagulls sit four points outside the relegation zone and were recently hit by the departures of Darren Currie and Danny Cullip.
Star striker Leon Knight has also made hints about following them, and things are looking far from rosy at the seaside, especially after the defeat to Stoke.
Ternent was at the match but isn't taking anyone lightly. He said: "They were a very good side and it will be a pretty tough game down there and we will work hard to prepare."
Gillingham's Matt Jarvis has postponed his hernia operation and will again be available for selection while Darius Henderson is back in training following an abdominal injury.
Tommy Johnson's injury woes continue though as he is sidelined for an initial three weeks after picking up a hamstring injury last week.
