In the FA Cup first qualifying round, Faversham Town stunned Cray Wanderers with a 3-0 win at Hayes Lane on Sunday afternoon.

Luke Harvey put the lower-division side ahead after 20 minutes and Dave Botterill doubled the advantage with 25 minutes left.

Darren Marsden put the gloss on Town's progress with a third 16 minutes from time.

The victory ensured the Lilywhites' place in the second qualifying round draw on Monday and earned them the £3,000 prizemoney for progressing.

The visitors took the lead against the run of play at Hartsdown Park through Andre McCollin but Charles Ademeno se-up Phil Walsh for the equaliser 10 minutes later.

Ademeno himself got the winner with little over 20 minutes remaining when he got the final touch amid a goalmouth scramble.

Sittingbourne edged a 3-2 win over Littlehampton Town thanks to a stoppage-time penalty from Ryan Golding.

Goals from Hicham Akhazzan and Joe Taylor turned the game around after an early opener for the visitors and despite Town pulling level and then having a man sent-off, it was left to Golding to win it from the spot after Connor Coyne was fouled in the 95th minute.

Thamesmead Town won 2-0 against Redhill, who played more than half the game a man down.

Tyrus Gordon-Young opened the scoring after the break and following a host of chances for the hosts, Gordon-Young was hauled down in the box, allowing Jon Main to seal Mead’s progress from the spot.

Frannie Collin’s lone strike 29 minutes from time ensured Maidstone United won 1-0 at Three Bridges to earn their place in Monday’s draw.

Last season's FA Vase finalists cancelled out an early opener through Brett Ince on 29 minutes but two goals in the final 20 minutes sent Town through, with Ian Parsons’ last-minute strike for Wells a consolation.

In Ryman League, Division 1 South action, Whitstable Town were beaten 1-0 at home to early leaders Walton Casuals.

Ramsgate won 4-3 win at Tooting & Mitcham in a match which saw defender Luke Wheatley taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg.

Ian Pulman put the Rams ahead on nine minutes and after Wheatley’s injury caused a 25-minute delay, James Everitt headed the visitors 2-0 ahead on the stroke of half-time.

However, Sol Pinnock halved the deficit on 48 minutes and Frankie Sawyer made it 2-2 just before the hour.

Aaron Milbank restored the visitors’ lead 16 minutes from time and Everitt sealed the points eight minutes later with a free-kick, although Jordan Cheadle ensured a tense finale with a third for the hosts three minutes from time.

In Division 1 North,VCD Athletic went four points clear at the top with a 3-2 win against Ware.

An own-goal from Aaron Cato put the strugglers ahead inside five minutes but Shirwin Stanley and Karl Dent turned the game around by the 50th minute.

Peter Smith gave the visitors an equaliser with a second own-goal 14 minutes from time, but Dent struck the winner five minutes from the end to seal the points.

Elsewhere Erith & Belvedere suffered a 3-0 home defeat to Soham Town Rangers.
