Both salt and freshwater anglers are enjoying some super sport from our region.

Take Dan Willows, he had a session down on the canal in Hythe to land this cracking common carp of 35lbs.

While over the north of the County Dover angler Shane Edwards had a night session that produced a bass and a super 10lb smoothound.

Both very good fish for the area I think you will agree.

There is still no sign of the mackerel shoals yet but they will arrive during our summer.

Remember to keep your distance when out fishing and most of all to enjoy yourselves!
