Sheppey Sunday League pace-setters White Horse transferred their form into the cup this weekend with a 9-1 thrashing of Anchorians Athletic in the Kent Cup.

The Division 1 leaders, who have yet to lose a game in the league, comfortably saw their way past Athletic in the second round tie.

Also winning easily were White Colts Athletic, who swept past Medway Jets 4-0, thanks to goals from Lawrence Foot, Sam Teague, Ashleigh Taylor and John Blunden.

There were three games in Division 1 as Red Lion beat Bay View 4-2, Leysdown won 3-1 against Ypres Tavern and Craig Holland netted four goals for Holm Sports in their 6-3 win over Park Regis.

Full round-up of the Sheppey Sunday League in this week’s Times Guardian newspaper.
