Boreham Wood v Welling United
WELLING manager Adrian Pennock has admitted it would be a "disaster" if the Wings crash out of the FA Cup on Saturday.
Pennock takes his side to Boreham Wood for a second qualifying round tie, knowing that defeat could cost the club thousands of pounds in a money-spinning cup run.
Pennock said: "It would be a disaster if we lost to them. It’s the biggest cup competition in the world and we need to win this game.
"Boreham Wood lost for the first time on Saturday but they are a good side with decent players so we need to be on our game."
Boreham Wood lead the Southern League Division 1 East table despite losing 3-1 to Arlesey on Saturday.
Midfielder Mark Saunders, on loan from Gillingham, will not be allowed to play while youngster Darren Marsden has joined Kent League Herne Bay on a one-month loan deal.
