Chester 1 Welling 3

Welling moved back into the top half of the Skrill Premier with a dogged display at Chester on Saturday.
The Wings included transfer deadline day signing Tobi Sho-Silva, who joined on loan from Charlton but it was another loan youngster Harry Cornick who gave them the perfect start.
The Bournemouth teenager, who impressed in a cameo appearance against Alfreton last week, opened the scoring on 16 minutes when his pace got him away from the home defence and he produced a calm finish beyond keeper John Danby.
Despite the strong winds and driving rain, Welling extended their lead five minutes before half-time. Sho-Silva closed down keeper Danby’s clearance and then squared the loose ball for captain Ross Lafayette to score his 12th goal of the campaign.
Joe Healy added to his list of spectacular goals this season eight minutes into the second half when he fired in a left-foot shot from 25 yards to make it 3-0.
Chester pulled one back almost immediately, however, when Matty Taylor’s run was not tracked and he shot past keeper Lee Butcher.
Jason Jarrett prodded wide from close range but Welling were rarely troubled by the hosts, who are just outside the relegation zone, thereafter.
Chester finished with 10 men after Ross Killock received a second yellow card in the final minute for bringing down substitute Kurtis Guthrie.
