YASIR ARAFAT had only one major bugbear during his five-month stint at St Lawrence - the weather.
The 25-year-old from Rawalpindi flew home to the warmer climes of Pakistan recently having completed his second spell in county cricket.
Having been called up to play for Pakistan in this September’s Twenty20 World Championships, Arafat is sad to leave the county at such a vital time in their championship campaign.
Arafat said: "The Twenty20 Cup win was special, it was my highlight and I hope that I've left Kent well on their way to another success in the NatWest Pro40.
"It has been great to be at Kent, the people have been lovely, everyone has been there for me, they have helped me a lot.
"I would like to say thanks and hope I meet them all again."
