Weston-super-Mare 0 Bromley 1
An early Danny Hockton goal was enough for Bromley to take maximum points from their Blue Square South trip to Weston-super-Mare on Saturday.
The winner came after just three minutes when Karl Beckford's corner was flicked on and the ball deflected in off Hockton's shin after a scramble.
The Lillywhites rode their luck at times in wet conditions. Lewis Powell came closest to an equaliser but his shot crashed back off the underside of the crossbar.
Sam Wood wasn't far from doubling Bromley's lead after the break but his long range effort was narrowly off target.
The result leaves Simon Osborn's team three points off the play-off places, although they need other results to go their way in midweek to keep any promotion hopes alive.
The win also ensured that rivals Welling are now mathematically safe from relegation with two games of the season remaining as Weston, who occupy the remaining relegation spot, can no longer catch them.
