Bell and Rochat dominate Easter race

James Bell and Lynne Rochat took the Easter Race honours on Monday at Cheyne Rock in their Laser 4000.

Race one of the Isle of Sheppey competition was won by John Beasty and crew Simon De Jong, who finished 18 seconds ahead of Bell and Rochat.

In third place was Mark Seager sailing an RS 600

Bell and Rochat claimed victory in the second race, by a massive margin, as they beat Lee Allen and Mark Mawhinney (Osprey) by just over five minutes on corrected time.

Tony Alexander and Rob Smith sailing a Buzz finished in third.

In race three Bell and Rochat were again victorious, taking line honours ahead of Tony Alexander and Rob Smith.

Beasty and De Jong in their Osprey took the second place overall behind the winning Laser 4000 pair, while Alexander and Smith were third.
