WELLING manager Adrian Pennock will tell his current squad their fate during the next two weeks.

Pennock met club owners Graham and Barrie Hobbins on Wednesday to finalise the budget for next season.

He said: "We've done well with the current squad but the table doesn't lie and there will be some changes.

"I've spoken to the players after the Lewes game and I'll speak to them all individually, face to face, in the next two weeks.

"There are some decisions that have to be amde and I've got an idea of what I will be doing - it's a part of the job and it doesn't worry me if I have to get rid of one or 15 players."

But Pennock has reiterated that the club's contracted players will only be leaving if the price is right.

"No one is leaving here for nothing - we are not a charitable club," he warned, possibly with clubs keen on Jamie Day, Paul Booth and James Smith in mind.

Pennock is expected to make his first signings in the next fortnight, with Gravesend & Northfleet defender Lee Gledhill being strongly linked with a move.
