Broadstairs had their relegation from Division 1 of the Shepherd Neame Kent Cricket League confirmed on Saturday when their final game at home to Bickley Park was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

The washout, which gave them eight points, left Broadstairs on 126 points, nine adrift of Sibton and 14 behind Whitstable, who escaped the drop.

Broadstairs 2nd have also been relegated from 2nd XI Division 1 after finishing bottom.
