Bromley v Chippenham

BROMLEY player-coach Simon Osborn said the Lillywhites won’t feel the pressure of being favourites for the FA Trophy third qualifying round with Chippenham Town on Saturday.

With Chippenham playing in a lower division - the Southern League - and being the away team at Hayes Lane, all the expectation will be on a home victory.

Osborn said: "We take it as a given that the pressure will be on us to force the pace and ultimately win the game.

"But the players can deal with that. They look forward to knockout games because it’s a nice break from a long league season and -with a few good draws and some decent performances - you can have a chance of a Wembley appearance.

"Hopefully, we’ll get a good crowd for the game, put in a decent performance and stay in the hat for the next round."

Osborn is struggling with ankle and hamstring injuries, while striker Danny Hockton (back) and Nic McDonnell (groin) also face late fitness tests.
