Medway's Rachael Burford helped England move to within one game of qualifying for next year's inagural Women's Rugby World Cup 7s in Dubai as they romped into the quarter-final of the European event in Limoges on Saturday.
Saracens fly-half Burford was part of an England side that won their pool without conceding a point in their three games as they qualified for a showdown with hosts France.
The winners automatically qualify for the Women's Rugby World Cup 7s and the losers go into a play-off with the losers of the other quarter-final to decide the other two places in Dubai.
Burford has found the tournament especially productive, running in four tries, two against Andorra and Sweden. She also landed eight conversions in a personal haul of 36 points.
