Gillingham's three-match unbeaten run ended in disappointment at Burnley.
Second half goals from Ian Moore in the 55th minute and David Johnson in the 62nd gave Burnley a deserved win after the visitors had fallen away badly following a strong first half performance.
Throughout the first half Gillingham looked solid defensively and Burnley became increasingly frustrated. But the two goals changed the course of the game and Gillingham were left to play second fiddle after the break.
