KIWI Ian Butler nabbed his third wicket of the match to give Kent an uplifting start to the second day of their Frizzell Championship match with Warwickshire.
Resuming on their first day total of 338 for four, Warwickshire lost all-rounder Dougie Brown without addition to his overnight score of 49 to the third over of the day.
Running one away from the right-hander, Butler found an outside edge for David Fulton to claim the slip catch at the second attempt to bring an end to a fifth wicket stand worth 105 in 35 overs.
Butler took the new ball at the start of his next over from the Pavilion End, but failed to trouble new batsman Brad Hogg or Michael Powell, who moved his score on to 81.
