Gillingham v Portsmouth

DARREN BYFIELD has returned to the Gillingham squad for Ronnie Jepson's first match as caretaker manager against Hartlepool at Priestfield.

Byfield has missed the last two months through injury, only resumed ball work in training this week, but Jepson has passed him fit enough to take a place on the bench.

Leon Johnson replaces youngster Jon Wallis at right-back and Danny Spiller retains his place in the midfield.
