Calf op for Gills star

GILLINGHAM striker Rod Wallace is to have surgery in an effort to cure a persistent calf problem.

Wallace, who made just 25 appearances last season, scoring 11 goals, will have an operation on June 3 to relieve tension in his calf muscle.
