RADIO 2 DJ Chris Evans and Nick Hancock, one-time presenter of They Think It's All Over, will appear for Lashings this Sunday when the Maidstone-based side play in Kent for the first time this season at Charing.
Evans and Hancock will appear alongside former West Indies captain Jimmy Adams and Zimbabwean hero Henry Olonga in the one-day friendly, staged to help Charing celebrate their rebirth as a cricket club.
Charing folded 10 years, but have started playing again this season.
The host club's Bob Cook said: "We are very excited to be hosting the Lashings team, which we hope will attract the crowds back to Charing and boost the profile of Charing Cricket Club with the locals and ultimately interest in the game of cricket in general here."
The match will be played at the Arthur Baker Playing Fields. Other cricketers due to take part are Alvin Kallicharran, Tatendu Taibu, Phil DeFreitas, Henry Olonga, Vasbert Drakes and Gregg Blewett.
Gates open at 12.30pm, players arrive at 1.30pm and the game begins 2.30pm. Admission is £5 for over 16s. It's free for 16-year-olds and under. There will be free parking in Pett Lane.
