Chatham Town manager Steve Binks has reacted positively to the news they will be playing in the Ryman League Division 1 North next season.

Town finished last season’s Division 1 South campaign in 18th position but, despite the switch, Binks is still looking forward to August.

“From a football point of view I can’t wait for the new season to start,” he said. “It was a bit of a surprise when I heard we would probably be moving leagues, but there are a lot of teams moving around at the moment.”
