The debate over Kent's decision to sign Australian fast bowler Stuart Clark continued on Thursday.
England cricket chiefs this week criticised the decision to give Clark a chance of match practice ahead of this summer’s Ashes series.
Both Kent captain Rob Key and England chief selector Geoff Miller appeared on Sky Sports News giving their sides to the argument.
Miller reiterated his disappointment over Kent's decision and Middlesex's signing of Philip Hughes.
Key said the situation with recruiting overseas players nowadays was not ideal, but he was delighted they had signed Clark.
