Sean Clohessy will return to Blue Square Premier side Salisbury City in January when the transfer window re-opens.
The 22-year-old, who has played 14 times for Salisbury and scored twice, has agreed to re-join the club on loan until the end of the season.
He returned to Gillingham at the weekend following the end of an extended loan stint with the Wiltshire side and he’ll remain in Kent until the new year.
That means the right-back will be available for the Gills’ games against Dagenham on Friday and Wycombe two days later.
Clohessy was signed by Gillingham in November 2005 after being released from Arsenal’s youth set-up and his contract expires at the end of this season. He has played almost 50 games for the Gills.
