WESTCOMBE PARK remain sixth in National League 2 after securing a comprehensive 59-0 win over Halifax at Goddington Lane.

Ben Lonergan (2), Gideon Roux (2) and Rob Taylor were amongst the try scorers as the home side secured a comfortable victory.

Head coach Fraser Thomson said: "It was a very good performance.

"I think we’ve surprised a lot of people this season.

"A number of our more high profile players were not playing but we still produced."
