London Broncos head coach Tony Rea was angered that his team did not put on a show for the Medway public at Priestfield on Saturday.

Broncos suffered their biggest ever home Super League defeat, going down 82-10 to Warrington Wolves in a one-sided contest watched by more than 3,000 supporters.

Not surprisingly, Rea was left frustrated by the horror show which sees Broncos remain bottom of the table with just three wins in 18 games.

He said: “There were a lot of people looking forward to seeing the team here.
“We want to come to these places and leave a great reputation behind but unfortunately we haven’t done that. We haven’t kept our reputation intact at all.

“I thought Medway did a good job, a great build-up and great intent. I feel for the people who believe in us that they didn’t get rewarded with a performance.”

Rea refused to elaborate on what was discussed post-match in the home dressing room but he was understandly angered by his team’s display.

He added: “I’m disappointed about the performance and apologetic to all those who came down to watch us. I just thought the team got spooked out of the contest.They played well and we didn’t handle it.We made a lot of unforced errors and we’ve now got to go back to basics to improve our game.

"We backed out of the contest too much and to rebuild our game, we need to do the basics well. We’re making a lot of unforced errors.”
