Cost of county cricket membership rises

KENT County Cricket Club have increased membership prices for the 2003 season in line with inflation.

Rates for next summer’s county campaigns, which will add up to 50 days of cricket in Kent, show modest two or three per cent increases on prices for 2002.

A single membership is increased by £3 to £96, while the member and car category goes up by £5 to £160.

Member and Friend rates are also raised by £5 to £160 and those joining under member, friend and car terms will pay £206, an additional £6.

A Family membership for 2003 will be £222, just £7 more than this season, while life memberships start at £2,800 and fall to £1,625 for those aged 61 and over.

Junior membership remains at £15, but student rates increase by £5 to £25.
