ANDREW CROFTS insists the current management saga is not having an effect on the team.

Gillingham went into their ninth game without a permanent successor to Ronnie Jepson on Saturday.

But they ran out 3-2 winners over Bristol Rovers at Priestfield and club captain Crofts is remaining focused.

“We don’t really know what’s happening and, as players, you just have to concentrate on training hard and playing hard – that’s all we can do.”

Caretaker boss Iffy Onuora has been at the helm since Jepson departed following a defeat in Southend on September 8.
