GILLINGHAM'S new signing Danny Cullip is hoping to make life difficult for opponents between now and the end of the season.
Cullip joined earlier this week to help the Gills escape from their relegation worries and he told the club's website: “Like most centre-halves I am no nonsense and try to get the job done.
“I like to get into the faces of the opposition centre-forwards and make it an uncomfortable 90 minutes.”
Despite Gillingham’s current predicament, Cullip insists he enjoys a good relegation scrap, and is looking forward to helping the struggling League 1 side.
“We’re down the bottom, it’s not a nice place to be,” admitted the 31-year-old.
“But I enjoy these situations, when everything is against you. Your backs are to the wall and you’ve got to put the tin helmets on and dig in.”
The uncompromising centre-back goes straight into the Gills squad ahead of Saturday’s home game against Huddersfield.
