CHARLTON manager Alan Curbishley owned up to getting it wrong tactically after the club's 3-1 defeat at Tottenham on Sunday.
The defeat brought to an end the Addicks' four-match unbeaten sequence and Curbishley confessed: "I'm disappointed with myself because I changed the shape but Spurs got on top with Carrick feeding the ball into Defoe and Keane.
"It caused us problems and I should have done something about it instead of waiting for the first goal to go in."
He added: "We went to Chelsea a few weeks ago knowing that we had a game on and attacked it right. We've turned up at Tottenham and it's not been the same case.
"Tottenham set their stall out - we didn't and that's my biggest beef.
"We've got a bit of a safety net, which is nice, but we've got to start winning some games."
