CHARLTON manager Alan Curbishley believes the depth of his squad will avoid them tailing off at the end of the season.
The spirited Addicks restored pride and maintained their hopes of qualifying for Europe with a draw at Middlesbrough on Sunday
Curbishley made three changes from the side that crashed out of the FA Cup to Leicester with Dennis Rommedahl, Bryan Hughes and Jonathan Fortune not even travelling with the squad to the Riverside Stadium.
And the Addicks boss has indicated that he will not hesitate to shuffle his pack again if Charlton start to falter.
He said: "I’ve got everyone available at the moment, apart from Kevin Lisbie who is suspended, so the competition is there.
"I made some changes and was hoping to get a response. I left three players out who played last week and I’ve still managed to put out a strong bench.
"We knew that we let everyone down and we were determined to change that."
The European places could extend down as far as seventh place in the Premier League but Curbishley has set the first target as reaching last season’s points total and securing a top 10 finish.
He said: "When you look at the calibre of the sides in the top 10 it’s a fantastic achievement for us to be in it. If we don’t tail away again then top 10 will be a great finish for us and that’s what we are looking to do first. If we beat our points total of last year then we’ll see what happens."
Charlton travel to Fulham on Saturday but Curbishley has already highlighted the three successive home matches that follow as the key to their success.
He said: "I keep going on about the three games but they are massively important. It’s difficult to win all three but if we can get results in them then it will be interesting."
