Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish believes he will have more playing options available to him next season.
MyFootballClub members agreed this week to give him a weekly playing budget of £10,000 which is an increase on what he had a year ago.
Daish said: “At the start of last season we had a number of injuries. The budget wasn’t £7,500 because a big percentage of that was sitting in the stands.
“It gives us more options to have a stronger squad with players that are coming in above the 11 or 16.
“I’m not setting any targets but I’ve got an idea in my head of what I want. At the moment players agents and representatives are asking for too much money for us.
"It is all about getting the timing right and getting the right player in the right locality.”
The former Republic of Ireland international is still hoping to thrash out deals with Sam Mott, Peter Hawkins and Dan Stubbs while Gary MacDonald and Danny Slatter will be given a chance to prove their fitness during pre-season.
