Ramsgate v Gillingham

GILLINGHAM fans will get their first opportunity to see the club's new signings in action when they travel to Ryman League Premier Division Ramsgate in their first pre-season friendly on Wednesday night.

Simon King, Delroy Facey, Craig Armstrong, Aaron Brown and Efe Sodje are all set to make their first appearances in a Gillingham shirt against the Rams.

The match is the official opening of Southwood’s new floodlights and Ramsgate boss Jim Ward is set to field several new signings.

Centre-back Nick Davis, Ben Laslett and Steffan Ball are all set to be involved, with ex-Margate trio Danny Whisker, Danny Dolton and Scott Holden also likely to be in the squad, together with young full-back Sam Vallance who has switched from Dover.

The match is taking place at the Southwood Stadium and will kick-off at 7.30pm. Ticket prices are as follows: Adult: £6; Senior citizen/students: £4; Six to 16 year olds: £1; Under-5s: free.
