Nottingham Forest v Gillingham
MICK DOCHERTY has praised his squad's response following the departure of Ronnie Jepson – and has asked for more of the same at Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Gillingham began life after Jepson's departure with a 1-0 victory over Brighton at Priestfield last Saturday and now travel to face one of the biggest clubs in the division.
Docherty, in temporary charge with first-team coach Iffy Onuora until a new manager is appointed, said the Brighton win has given everyone at the club a boost.
He said: "There were some massive performances from certain individuals – all the senior pros really, as you would expect.
"It was a victory against a good team and it's a nice positive in that everyone can start again."
Gills will take a full squad to Forest, although Simon King, who hobbled off against Brighton, is a doubt.
