Dual role for Barlow at Lordswood

WAYNE BARLOW has been installed as Lordswood FC's assistant manager for the coming season.

Barlow, who will also be registered as a player, will replace Graham Mitchell as Paul Piggott's assistant.

Another Mitchell on his way out of Lordswood is Shawn Mitchell who has signed for Herne Bay.

But Piggott has contacted around half a dozen players and is awaiting their decision.

Meanwhile, Lords have also lined a number of pre-season friendlies before the big kick off on August 14.

They will face Dartford on July 20 and then Essex side Bales United on July 24 before tackling Tonbridge Angels on July 27. All these three games are at home.

Piggott is also lining up games against Hastings and new Kent County league side Hollands and Blair.
