Dynamos coach targets cup success

PARRISH: wants his side to concentrate on themselves

HEAD coach Kevin Parrish has called on his Invicta Dynamos players to book their place in the next round of the ENIHL Cup.

The Dynamos travel to Haringey Greyhounds on Sunday knowing they need to win one of their remaining two games to qualify for the knockout stages.

Parrish said: "It's probably one of the bigger rinks and we don't tend to play well there. We never know what team they are going to put out but we've just got to concentrate on ourselves.

"Playing in the ENIHL Cup has given us a bit of an edge on everyone else. While other teams are having a couple of weeks off we have got games every weekend. Our sharpness is there."

The Gillingham Ice Bowl-based side could face Peterborough in the next round and the fixture is one that Parrish is already relishing.

He added: "Peterborough have won their group quite early on. We have had a couple of close run games with them in the past and it would be nice to meet them over two legs but we need to get the job done on Sunday first."

Peter Korff (knee) and AJ Smith (work) will both miss the game while Tim Smith (arm) is unlikely to be available.
