INVICTA Dynamos coach Carl Greenhous knows his team face a completely different challenge this weekend than last as they prepare to take on Isle of Wight Raiders and Slough Jets in the English Premier Cup.
After putting 23 goals past lowly Telford Wild Foxes in two league games last weekend, it's unlikely Dynamos will have quite so much joy in front of goal against harder opposition this weekend.
Dynamos travel to Isle of Wight tomorrow before hosting the Jets the following day -- two matches Greenhous believes will be difficult.
Greenhous said: “We have got two tough games against Isle of Wight and Slough but I was reasonably pleased with last weekend, because it's the first four-point weekend we have had in a long time.
“Defensively we weren't that strong but it was nice to see us explode at the other end. We'll take the positives out of the weekend and that was certainly one of them.
“It would be nice to keep up our offence output but we are certainly going to have to tighten up our defensive play if we are going to have any chance of a win on the Isle of Wight or at home against Slough.”
In recent games, Greenhous has given a number of his younger players the opportunity to play from the start and he looks set to continue this policy until the end of the season.
Adam Smith and net minder Carl Ambler both played in the 10-8 away victory over Telford last Saturday, and will come into the reckoning this weekend.
Greenhous said: "We did our best to get everyone in the line-up against Telford and play some of our younger players and they performed well enough.
"We'll do the same in the cup because we are already mathematically eliminated from the competition so we have nothing to lose.”
