Fan pressure has forced Invicta Dynamos into re-thinking the design of their new coloured home shirt.

A cream-coloured kit was promoted on their website but after negative feedback from the fans, they are reverting back to a traditional white design.

Even club director and secretary Jackie Mason admitted it wasn’t quite what they expected.

She said: “It looked as if it had been put in with something else in the wash. There is a difference between seeing something on the computer and seeing it for real.

"We put the sample on the website for the fans to see and although most were OK, some weren’t, so we said we would have a look at it and do a redesign.”

The Dynamos are sticking with their away and warm-up kits, however, with grey being the colour on their travels and a mixture of blue, white and red for warm-up.

Home and away shirts are available for pre-order from the club’s website invictadynamos.co.uk for purchase ahead of the new season, priced at £49.50.

“We have to listen to the fans as we want to sell as many shirts as we can,” Mason
added.

Head coach Kevin Parrish had earlier tweeted: “After the feedback on the home shirt, there will be a change of design. #thanksforthecomments”
