Invicta Dynamos’ relentless assault on the ENIHL South 1 title moved up another gear as they posted a second consecutive double-win weekend to go top of the table for the first time this season.

Kevin Parrish’s side hit 17 goals in the two games against Cardiff Dragons and Haringey Greyhounds and need just one win from their eight remaining games to secure their place in the ENIHL Playoffs, which start in March.

Saturday’s trip to Cardiff looked to be the Mos' hardest challenge from their remaining regular season fixtures but they made light work of the Dragons, squaring the four-game season series at two games all with an 8-4 victory.

Jack Tarczycki, Jamie Dancey (2), Martin Melichercik (2), Milan Kostolny, Elliot Andrews and Laurence Billing were the scorers as they blew their opponents away in the second and third periods after going into the first interval at 3-3.

Then, showing no signs of fatigue from their efforts in the Welsh capital, Invicta cruised to a 9-0 win against Haringey at the Ice Bowl on Sunday night.

Despite icing without top scoring threat Andrews, who was injured, the home side showed their goal scoring prowess as Andy Smith (3), Tarczycki, AJ Smith, Adam Copland, Damien Welch, Kostolny and Lewis Burke converted some of the numerous chances created on the night.
