INVICTA Dynamos were victorious in a pre-season challenge match at English Premier League side Wightlink Raiders 4-2 on Sunday.

The Mos squad of 18 contained four debutants - netminder Glenn Jackson, defenceman Tim Smith, and forwards Joe Allen and Ken Forshee.

Raiders went in front when they capitalised on a 5-on-3 powerplay with their new player-coach Les Millie scoring on 9:19 for what was the only goal of the first period.

The Dynamos hit back while enjoying a similar numerical advantage when AJ Smith was on target at 27:05.

Millie restored Wightlink's lead with a powerplay goal on 29:39, before Dynamos again had a 5-on-3 advantage which allowed Forshee to equalise on 34:27.

Within a minute the Mos took the lead for the first time when Jamie Smith (35:19) scored to make it 3-2 and the same player then added a fourth (46:16).
