Dynamos won't do opponents any favours

Invicta Dynamos head coach Kevin Parrish says his side won’t do Haringey Greyhounds any favours when they meet at the Gillingham Ice Bowl on Sunday.

The newly-crowned champions are up against the bottom side in ENIHL South 1.

Parrish said: “They are fighting for their lives to stay in the league but we want to win in front of our home fans.

“At the start of the year Haringey said we were weakened. I don’t see why we should do them any favours. They are the worst team in the league by far.

“We are getting the trophy handed to us on Sunday so we want to be in a happy frame of mind.”

Martin Melichercik and Milan Kostolny have both been handed three game suspensions for the nature of their match penalties in the club’s 6-0 win over Milton Keynes Thunder. Melichercik was given an additional two-game ban for going over the 10 penalty points mark.

Sunday’s game against Haringey could be played as a double-points encounter. If the league agree, then it could also count as two games, meaning that players who are suspended will be classed as missing two games.
