JOHN GORMAN, the former England number two, will return to Priestfield today to become Gillingham's assistant manager.
The Scot started his coaching career with the Gills in 1986 and will return to the club in the wake of Wayne Jones' sacking. y.
After leaving Gillingham in 1988, Gorman joined Leyton Orient before joining Glenn Hoddle at Swindon Town.
He then managed Swindon on his own after Hoddle left for Chelsea but teamed up with his colleague again with the coaching jobs at England, Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur.
