Ex-Gillingham fan of the year dies

WELL known Gillingham Football Club stalwart and former Supporter of the Year Wally Abnett has died in the Medway Maritime Hospital following a long illness. He was 86.

Mr Abnett leaves a widow , Betty, and daughter Rita.
