FORMER Republic of Ireland international midfielder Mark Kinsella will dust off his boots and make a playing comeback tonight against Ryman League Chatham Town at Maidstone Road.
Kinsella, now Charlton's reserve team manager, guests for the club's Academy side in a benefit match for former Chats' midfielder Garry Tilley who has been forced to retire after breaking a leg three times in as many seasons.
Joining him in making a playing comeback will be Academy manager and former Charlton boss Steve Gritt, Addicks Under-18 youth coach Damien Matthew and youth goalkeeper coach Lee Smelt, the former Gravesend favourite.
Former Chats manager Steve Binks, who helped organise the match, said: "We can't thank Charlton and Steve Gritt enough. The club have been fantastic in their support for Garry Tilley.
The match kicks off at 7.30pm and all proceeds will go to Tilley and his young family.
