KEITH ROWLAND has become Welling manager Adrian Pennock's latest signing after joining the club from Ryman League strugglers Redbridge on Tuesday afternoon.
The 34-year-old former West Ham and QPR midfielder is set to make his debut away to Newport County in Conference South this Wednesday night.
Rowland, who has previously played with Pennock at Bournemouth, said: "I've known Adrian for years but when I played for Redbridge against Welling in the FA Trophy earlier this season it was the first time I've seen him for a while.
"Welling are on the up in Conference South. It's a good opportunity for me to give it a go and improve myself - it doesn't matter how old you are. You always want to play at the highest level possible.
"I've never been the type of player who smashes people up. I always try to keep the ball and hopefully I'll get the chance to deliver with my left foot and help the club move on."
