TONBRIDGE Angels are through to the next round of the FA Cup after a 3-1 win against Horsham on Saturday.

Lee Carey gave them the lead after 25 minutes before Leroy Huggins doubled the lead five minutes later.

Lee Carney pulled one back for the visitors from the penalty spot, but Angels player-manager Tony Dolby made the game safe with another penalty with 25 minutes to go.

Ramsgate were equally comfortable in disposing of Mertsham.

Two goals from Shane Suter, and one each for David Cory and Shaun Welford led to a 4-1 victory.

Dover are also through after an ill-tempered clash at Lymington & New Milton.

Second half goals from Craig Wilkins and Walid Matata won the game 2-0 for the visitors, but the match will be remembered for three dismissals, two for the home side and one for Dover.

In Ryman League Division 1, Ashford Town enjoyed a 3-1 victory against Slade Green at Homelands thanks to goals from Joby thorogood, Shaun Bradshaw and Richard Boorman.
